RE: PID 4799; MLS #145251: I wrote 2/24/12 regarding Mr. tried to "undo closing" but could not make it work, thought had to rewrite one commission check to another agent. Later, it was determined that he didn't need to "undo closing". Checks were distributed and paid on bank statement. During reconciliation yesterday, ProGold shows one of the checks (#9236) as VOID. I checked property record - shows closed and amounts added to agent 1099. Will unchecking the VOID box on the check correct this situation and keep agents 1099 info correct? Thank you, ;

Most likely it will not let you remove the check in the Void box and Unvoid the check. You can try it, but I don't believe it will let you.

If you need to replace the check the Voided check with a good check, you will need to delete the Voided check (Use the delete button) and then re-enter it and make changes to the newly entered check.

Go to the check in the bank
- Use the Duplicate button to make a copy of the check with a new check #
- Return to the original check and Delete it (If Posted, must Unpost in order to delete)
- Go back to new check just created
- Change the new check # to the check # just deleted and verify the data is the same as the original
check (may have to modify the date to be the same as the original check)
- Modify the amount as necessary
