How does the MLS import work? Does it automatically list active properties and if so what about pending and or rental properties? ProGold i2 Customer Care |

The MLS import is a process in Pro Gold i2 that takes files provided by the MLS (i.e., Board) and scans them for transactions (i.e., Listings) that belong to your company. These files typically have recent transactions in them (1-2 weeks old). Most imports have a back date feature that allows a client to get older transactions when necessary. The import can be run manually and/or setup to run automatically at a specifiic time (e.g., 5:00 AM). Whenever a new listing is provided from the MLS, the import will create a new property record in your Pro Gold i2 database. The import process monitors the MLS number field to prevent duplication and updates records that are already in Pro Gold i2. Once a transaction is entered in the Pro Gold i2 database, any changes that may be processed will update to the record in Pro Gold i2 (e.g., goes Pending, info changed, etc...). The MLS does not provide all information for a transaction. You can verify what information is provided by the MLS by reviewing the MLS documentation. Do the following to view the MLS documentation: Run the import manually. Main Menu => MLS Interface => Import/ Export Utility icon * Select the Utilitiy icon * Select your import in the Select From Below area * Click the Open button * Click the Help button in the upper left of the import screen * This will bring up the MLS Mapping screen/import document * This document details the items (i.e., data fields) that are imported by your import The ProGold i2 Team |
