There are several transactions in our Escrow account that won't post. When I started doing this job there were 7 transactions that I tried to post (because I got tired of seeing them) and it came back as unsuccessful. Then recently I fiddled with something and now there is another one waiting to post but it won't; any suggestions? I've attached a screen shot.

Unfortunately I already trashed it and emptied the trash. The next time I have a deposit I'll take another pic. ProGold i2 Customer Care |

If the transaction is still not posted, go to the deposit in the bank and give a me screenshot of the deposit in the bank account. It will have all the criteria I need to see on it. The ProGold i2 Team |

Awesome. I do too many of these and Under contracts a day I get ahead of myself. Glad you're here to straighten me out! I know I submitted a ticket about several "deposits" that were not posting. Most of them have a $0.00 balance but there is one that has some money attached to it. These are all REALLY old (like 2004 I think) and no one has ever taken care of them I was curious at how I get them off the transaction page? Thank You, ProGold i2 Customer Care |

Zero $ transactions cannot Post to the General Ledger. Ideally, what you want to do is Delete them. When you view the transactions in the Batch Post screen, you an selct the Edit icon on the transaction and it will take you directly to the transaction. Delete the entry and return to the Batch Post screen. Note: If a zero $ transaction has been cleared on a bank recon, you will not be able to delete the transaction unless you go to the bank period it was cleared under, unlock it, and unclear the transaction. Re lock the bank period. Once uncleared, the transaction can be deleted. As for the old transaction. If it refuses to Post, typically it is due to imbalance on the transaction. Make sure the amount on the transaction matches the G/L amount. The ProGold i2 Team |

Wow. Alright. Thank you. That's a very big hassle. I found one, the first one, from 2006 and opened it but I don't see any unlock buttons or anything? My accountant says that our ProGold hasn't been reconciled since she started working here (2010) so I'm sure there are lots of imbalances. I guess it's just annoying when I see all those on there everytime I do a new deposit transaction so for me it's not a big deal. Thanks for your help. ProGold i2 Customer Care |
