I tried to send a reply to my last question when you sent the response. The beginning balance is out by the amount we are out. Can the beginning balances be changed?

Yes, you can still post a beginning balance entry to fix the imbalance. You can adjust one of the accounts listed in the Beginning Balance screen and then select the Post Beginning Balances button to enter the change to the Beginning Balances.

* Go to the Beginning Balances Screen
* Adjust the value (decrease or increase the value displayed based on what is needed
to balance the overall amount)
* Verify the Out of Balance figure is Zero
* Click the Post Beginning Balances button
* Click OK to the prompt

Check your Trial Balance report.
